Blockbuster Sport Live in 2025
This year is gearing up to be a cracker of a season when it comes to the live sports offering on Sky Sports. Additionally, when asked about the main reasons to visit an on-trade venue, watching live sport is the only reason that has increased over the last year*. Therefore, now is a better time than ever to make the most of Sky’s breadth of sport offering for your on-trade venue.
With the football season in full swing and following the launch of Sky Sports+ last summer, there is more choice than ever with live coverage across the Premier League, English Football League, Women’s Super League, Scottish Premiership and the Bundesliga. If you love football, 2025 just got better with a groundbreaking new rights deal that brings 215 matches per season to Sky in a new four-year deal.
Keep your eyes peeled for a new F1 season in March, with unrivalled live coverage of the whole race weekend. The exciting British and Irish Lions Tour of Australia this summer plus a feast of other live sports coverage in cricket, golf, tennis, rugby league, netball, darts and NFL too.
Premier League – Get 100 more matches each season, with Sky’s coverage increasing by 70%. Plus, we continue to get all first pick matches, giving your customers more of the best matches week in week out until May 2029. And in another first, Sky Sports will now be able to offer multiple live matches on Sunday’s at 2pm, across a number of weekends.
Football – Customers can also enjoy more of the English Football League with coverage increasing to over 1,000 matches each season, as well as nearly 90% of all Women’s Super League matches next season, and an increase in SPFL matches until 2029.
Rugby – Exclusive live coverage of The British and Irish Lions tour of Australia. And every Super League game from each round live, including all 3 Grand Finals.
Formula 1® - The only place to watch every Formula 1® practice, qualifier and race live.
Cricket – ECB rights to the end of 2028 with home men’s and women’s international cricket including the next home Ashes series, The Hundred, Vitality Blast, County Championship, plus all men’s and women’s ICC world events through to the end of 2031.
Golf – Sky Sports Golf is the home of golf in the UK and will show all four men’s Majors, all five women’s Majors, The Ryder Cup, Solheim Cup and both men’s and women’s tours.
NFL – It’s time for the playoffs, and you can show every touchdown and tackle from the Wild Card Weekend, the Divisional Playoffs and the AFC and NFC Conference Championships as the teams battle it out for a place in February’s Super Bowl LIX.
Darts – Have access to live matches from the PDC World Darts Championship and Premier League Darts. Plus, catch other darts tournaments including the World Cup of Darts, World Matchplay and the World Grand Prix Darts.
